Mitigasi Gereja Terhadap Politik Identitas di Indonesia

Abstrak Ancaman Politik Identitas telah menimbulkan perpecahan dan perseteruan selama ini di antara masyarakat Indonesia yang kaya dengan suku, agama, dan ras, termasuk konflik itu dibawa masuk ke dalam konteks bergereja. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan alternatif melalui Teologi Mitigasi Gereja bagi anggota jemaat merespons tantangan Politik Identitas dalam konteks pra dan pasca Pemilu 2024 dan berlaku dalam keberlanjutan Pemilu di Indonesia. Artikel ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Temuan dalam artikel ini adalah pemerintahan Allah (teokrasi) yang terinternalisasi dalam kehidupan anggota jemaat memberdayakan mereka meminimalisir dan mengantisipasi tantangan Politik Identitas dengan berani menyatakan kebenaran, tidak berkompromi dengan segala bentuk kejahatan dan kekerasan dalam Politik Identitas, dan berani membangun relasi dengan setiap kelompok yang memiliki kepentingan tertentu sekaligus mempertahankan integritas sebagai anak Allah terhindar dalam politik atas nama agama, eksploitasi SARA, politik uang, dan berita hoaks.Kata Kunci: Indonesia; Politik Identitas; Teologi Mitigasi Gereja; Kerajaan Allah; Model Relasi YesusAbstract The threat of Identity Politics has created divisions and feuds among Indonesian society, which is rich in ethnicity, religion and race, including this conflict being brought into the context of the church. This article aims to offer an alternative through Church Mitigation Theology for congregation members to respond to the challenges of Identity Politics in the pre- and post-2024 Election context and applies to the continuation of the Election in Indonesia. This article is qualitative in nature with a literature study approach. The findings in this article are that God's government (theocracy) which is internalized in the lives of congregation members empowers them to minimize and anticipate the challenges of Identity Politics by having the courage to state the truth, not compromising with all forms of crime and violence in Identity Politics, and having the courage to build relationships with every group that has certain interests while maintaining integrity as a child of God to avoid politics in the name of religion, exploitation of SARA, money politics and hoax news.Keywords: Indonesia; Identity Politics; Church Mitigation Theology; Kingdom of God; Model Jesus Relationship
