<![CDATA[Abstract: Today, society is inseparable from the digital world, where everyone gathers and is not limited by space, time, or place; as long as they are connected to the internet, they can interact and share information. Due to that culture, society uses the information obtained from social media as a moral foundation and a guide for behavior, in contrast not all information is beneficial for certain communities because it is hindered by different contexts and needs. It is often found that information on the internet must be filtered before it can be used as a guideline for life. This filtering process requires critical thinking to analyze and assess the merits and drawbacks of information, determining whether it aligns with one's needs or not. Therefore, this research is conducted to formulate the contributions of teachers in training the community to think critically through the world of education, where teachers act as educational agents. This research uses a qualitative research method based on a literature review by examining various literatures and then presenting the findings descriptively as the result of the study. This research found that critical thinking in the digital era is essential and is part of the complexity of the tasks faced by Christian education teachers. To foster students' critical thinking, teachers must understand the role of reason as noted in the Bible, then develop philosophy and theology in learning, guide students to think critically, serve as models of critical thinking, and train students to have moral sensitivity as a form of Christian spirituality in the digital age. Abstrak: Masyarakat saat ini tidak terlepas dunia digital dimana setiap individu berkumpul dan tidak dibatasi oleh ruang, waktu, dan tempat tetapi cukup terhubung ke jaringan internet mampu berinteraksi dan berbagi informasi. Oleh karena budaya tersebut, masyarakat menjadikan informasi yang didapatkan di sosial media sebagai landasan bermoral dan berperilaku, sementara tidak semua informasi bermanfaat bagi masyarakat tertentu karena dihalangi oleh konteks dan kebutuhan yang berbeda-beda. Kerap ditemukan bahwa informasi di internet harus difilter terlebih dahulu sebelum dijadikan pedoman hidup. Proses filter tersebut memerlukan pemikiran kritis untuk mengkaji serta menilai baik dan buruknya sebuah informasi, sesuai atau tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merumuskan kontribusi guru dalam melatih masyarakat berpikir kritis melalui dunia pendidikan dimana guru sebagai pelaku pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif berbasis studi literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai literatur kemudian menuangkan secara deskriptif sebagai hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini menemukan hasil bahwa pemikiran kritis di era digital sangat diperlukan dan merupakan bagian dari kompleksitas tugas guru pendidikan agama Kristen. Untuk membentuk pemikiran kritis siswa, guru harus memahami peran akal budi sebagaimana dicatat oleh Alkitab, kemudian mengembangkan filsafat dan teologi dalam pembelajaran, membimbing siswa berpikir kritis, guru menjadi model berpikir kritis serta melatih siswa memiliki sensivitas moral sebagai bentuk spritualitas kristen di era digital.]]>
