This study highlights the important role of inclusive education in supporting children with speech delay, particularly in improving their communication and social interaction skills. Findings show that in New Zealand, a functional approach to inclusive education is supported by teachers' deep understanding and psychologist support. However, public awareness of inclusion in Indonesia is lacking, still a challenge, influencing parents' decisions in enrolling children in inclusive schools. The main recommendations are continuous training for teachers and an extensive public awareness campaign to strengthen inclusive education practices. With these measures, it is expected that inclusive education can significantly improve the support and understanding of children with speech delay in the educational context.
