The planting of Casuarina trees in Pidodokulon Village, Kendal Regency, aims to prevent coastal erosion in the Pilangsari Beach area and develop its potential as a marine educational tourism destination. The planting process involved site surveys, placing bamboo stakes as markers, and planting the saplings, with participation from various community elements, including KKN students, the village head, and local environmental enthusiasts. Preliminary results show positive impacts on erosion prevention, with the growth of Casuarina and mangrove trees around the beach area. While the tourism potential may take time to fully develop as the trees mature, this activity provides significant benefits for the preservation of the beach ecosystem and raises awareness among the community and students about the importance of environmental conservation.
