Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi Dengan Disiplin Kerja Pegawai

The General Directorate of Post and Telecommunication in Bandar Lampung supervise and control the spectrum of radio frequency on every region in Indonesia. In order to complete this duty successfully, it is needed officials that have the high capability, loyality, and responsibility so the organization goal can be achieved. However,  its implementation is not good because the motivation and leadership style of officials at  the General Directorate of Post and Telecommunication is low and their discipline is not optimum.  This research aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and motivation to the working discipline of officials at  the General Directorate of Post and Telecommunication Bandar Lampung. The result of this research indicates that there is a positive relationship between leadership style and motivation to the working discipline of officials at  the General Directorate of Post and Telecommunication Bandar Lampung.Direktorat Jenderal Pos Dan Telekomunikasi Bandar Lampung melaksanakan fungsi pengawasan dan pengendalian spektrum frekuensi radio di setiap wilayah Indonesia. Agar tugas tersebut dapat berhasil diperlukan pegawai yang mempunyai kemampuan, loyalitas dan tanggung jawab yang tinggi sehingga diharapkan  tujuan organisasi secara keseluruhan dapat tercapai. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya belum berjalan dengan baik, hal ini disebabkan adanya hambatan-hambatan antara lain rendahnya disiplin kerja pegawai. Hambatan tersebut disebabkan karena gaya kepemimpinan dan kurangnya motivasi pegawai pada Direktorat Jenderal Pos Dan Telekomunikasi Bandar Lampung Masih rendah dan disiplin kerja pada UPT Direktorat Jenderal Pos Dan Telekomunikasi Bandar Lampung belum optimal.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi dengan disiplin kerja pegawai pada UPT Direktorat Jenderal Pos Dan Telekomunikasi Bandar Lampung. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi pegawai dengan disiplin kerja pegawai pada UPT Direktorat Jenderal Pos Dan Telekomunikasi Bandar Lampung.
