The incidence of breast cancer can be prevented earliest by screening doing Breast Self-Examination (SADARI). SADARI can be done since teenagers, so it can reduce morbidity and mortality rates of women due to the breast cancer. The aims of this study were to determine the level of knowledge of teenagers about breast cancer as an effort to prevention of breast cancer through SADARI at SMK Baiturrahim Jambi." SMK Baiturrahim was chosen as the research location, because it has Nursing and Pharmacy study rograms, and arround 90% of the student are female. with the hope that this research will give benefit for the students and can be applied to the surrounding community. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive survey and Cross-Sectional method design. The research was conducted from September 2021 to August 2022. The Sampling of this research is purposive sampling, with a total resopondents around 62 respondents using univariate analysis. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents based on age were mostly in the age range of 15-18 years, did not have a family history of cancer (98.4%), menarchea age ≥12 years (87.1%), did not have a history of breast tumors (96.8%) and had a source of information about cancer around 96.8%. Most of the 48 responden (77.42%) had good knowledge, 13 (20.97%) respondents had sufficiently, and 1,6% had less knowledge about the breast cencer. Suggestions to teachers at SMK Baiturrahim should be able to incorporate this research material into extracurricular activities and learning materials so that students can later apply it in the wider community when they practice in the field later.Â
