Advertising is one of the most widely known public services, from children to the elderly, because advertising itself is often used as a promotional tool for products and services. Based on this, the problem in this research is that students still experience difficulties in writing advertising texts. Therefore, the aim of this research is to attract students' interest in writing advertising texts using the image media provided. The method used is the research development (R&D) method with a 4D model. The results of the research show that the validation results of the development of this image media were 91.10%. This indicates that the validation of the development of this image media is very valid, and the results of the practicality test were 78.14%. This figure indicates that the use of image media in the process of learning to write text advertising is practical
