<![CDATA[AbstractThis research focuses on school policies in supporting the career development of teachers at SD Negeri 02 Balai, Balai, Sanggau. The purpose of this study was to find out how school policies were in supporting the career development of teachers. This research uses a qualitative research method, identify a topic or focus, selecting participants, foreshadowed questions, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation of results. The conclusions of study are: (1) School policies are improving teacher professionalism and building teacher networks; (2) Programs and strategies are facilitate teachers to get recognition as professional and build a network, increasing the qualifications of academic education, encouraging teachers to continue study, and building teacher network; (3) The inhibiting factors are teachers have not mastered effective learning planning; (4) The efforts are increasing teacher professionalism, schools provide teachers motivation, schools require teachers to take part in KKG, and building teacher networks. Suggestions in this study are: (1) For teachers carry out and improve the task as a professional; (2) For schools where implementing policies to improve teacher professionalism and building networks; (3) For the Department, carry out and make effective monitoring activities and makes training and education programs according to what teachers need.Keywords: career development, school policy, teacher.]]>
