<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting styles and the responsibility of children aged 5-6 years at the Kindergarden of Bruder Melati Pontianak. The method used is corelation with the form of quantitative research. The population and sample were 35 respondents, the data collection technique used a questionniare for parenting with child responbilities. The data analysis technique used inferential statistics, with hypothesis testing using product moment, the result showed. 1) democratic parenting has a strong enough relationship with children's responbilities, 2) permissive parenting has no relationship with responbilities, 3) authoritarian parenting has no relationship with children's responbilities, 4) maxim parenting has quite a relationship strong with child responbilities. The conclusion of this study is that the development of children responsibility can be supported by democratic parenting alone a mixture (a combination of the three parenting patterns).]]>
