<![CDATA[AbstractThe problem in this research is how the basic volleyball technical skills of male students in volleyball extracurricular at SMAN 1 Batang Lupar. This study aims to determine the extent to which students' ability to perform basic volleyball techniques in male students who take extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Batang Lupar. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with the type of research that is survey. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis of percentages. The subjects in this study were all male students who took part in volleyball extracurricular at SMAN 1 Batang Lupar, totaling 20 people. Based on the calculation of the percentage of basic volleyball techniques at SMAN 1 Batang Lupar, the average service ability is obtained, namely; 70% (good), while the average passing down is; 65% (good), the average passing over is; 70% (good), and the average smash is; 85% (very good). So it can be concluded that the basic volleyball technical skill test can improve the ability to play volleyball at SMAN 1 Batang Lupar.Keyword : Basic Technique, Skill Test, Volleyball]]>
