Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of corruption, economic growth, and inflation on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in developing ASEAN countries. Utilizing secondary data in the form of panel data from six developing countries in the region, particularly Indonesia, from 2012 to 2022, this research employs multiple linear regression analysis using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) approach. The methodology is designed to determine the relationship between the dependent variable and one or more independent variables. The regression results indicate that corruption, economic growth, and inflation significantly influence FDI in developing ASEAN countries. However, on a partial basis, only corruption shows a significant effect, while economic growth and inflation do not exhibit a similar impact.
