PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS POSTER DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA SCRAPBOOK SISWA KELAS VIIID MTsN 2 GUNUNGKIDUL

This study aims to improve the skills of writing posters using a contextual approach using the scrapbook media for class VIIID students at MTsN 2 Gunungkidul using the scrapbook media. The hypothesis of this classroom action research is: learning using scrapbook media can improve the poster writing skills of class VIIID students. This study uses a class action research design. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class VIIID MTsN 2 Gunungkidul. This study consisted of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Data collection techniques using tests. The test is in the form of writing a poster. The results obtained showed that the writing skills of class VIIID students at MTsN 2 Gunungkidul increased. The results of the pre-action test showed an average value of 65.9 and in cycle I an average value of 70.46 was obtained. This means an increase of 4.56 points . In cycle II, the class average was 77.68. This shows an increase from cycle I to cycle II of 7.22 points. So the increase that occurred from pre-action to cycle II was 11.78 points. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis poster dengan pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan media buku temple pada siswa kelas VIIID MTsN 2 Gunungkidul dengan menggunakan media buku temple (Scrapbook). Adapun hipotesis penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah: pembelajaran menggunakan media buku tempel dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis poster siswa kelas kelas VIIID. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIID MTsN 2 Gunungkidul sebanyak 32 siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Tes berupa menulis poster. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas VIIID MTsN 2 Gunungkidul meningkat. Hasil tes pratindakan menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 65,9 dan pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 70,46. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan sebesar 4,56 poin . Pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata kelas sebesar 77,68. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 7,22 poin. Jadi peningkatan yang terjadi dari pratindakan sampai pada siklus II sebesar 11,78 poin.
