<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to develop a book on the development of clothing civilization based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) to foster a character of tolerance. The character of tolerance is a value that teaches kindness and respects differences, such as respecting diversity and cultural values, respecting, being open, sympathetic, tolerant, behaving and thinking positively, defending the truth, and being neutral. The method used is the ADDIE Research and Development model. The techniques for collecting data applied include test and non-test techniques, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. This study involved 10 certified teachers in various regions for needs analysis in the form of open and closed questionnaires, involving 10 validators as expert judgments, and eight children for limited trials. The results of the study showed 1) the PjBL-based clothing civilization textbook to foster a character of tolerance was developed with the ADDIE stages, 2) the textbook has very good quality with a score of (3.78), 3) the textbook has a significant influence on the character of tolerance (p <0.05) with a large effect (r = 0.98) equivalent to (95.8%). The level of effectiveness of the textbook is included in high effectiveness (N-Gain Score of 72.493%).Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku perkembangan peradaban pakaian berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) untuk menumbuhkan karakter toleransi. Karakter toleransi merupakan nilai yang mengajarkan kebaikan dan menghargai perbedaan, seperti menghargai keberagaman dan nilai-nilai budaya, menghormati, terbuka, simpatik, tenggang rasa, berperilaku dan berpikir positif, membela kebenaran, dan netral. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development model ADDIE. Teknik untuk mengumpulkan data yang diterapkan mencakup teknik tes dan nontes, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 10 guru bersertifikasi di beragam daerah untuk analisis kebutuhan berbentuk kuesioner terbuka dan tertutup, melibatkan 10 validator sebagai expert judgement, dan delapan anak untuk uji coba terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) buku teks peradaban pakaian berbasis PjBL untuk menumbuhkan karakter toleransi dikembangkan dengan tahapan-tahapan ADDIE, 2) buku teks memiliki kualitas yang sangat baik dengan skor (3,78), 3) buku teks memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap karakter toleransi (p < 0,05) dengan efek besar (r = 0,98) setara (95,8%). Tingkat efektivitas buku teks termasuk dalam efektivitas tinggi (N-Gain Score sebesar 72,493%).]]>
