Abstrak. Penelitian ini membahas peningkatan kemampuan motorik kasar melalui permainan tradisional egrang batok kelapa. Tujuan penelitian meliputi: 1) gambaran umum kemampuan motorik kasar anak, 2) cara meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak, dan 3) efektivitas permainan egrang batok kelapa dalam meningkatkan motorik kasar. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK AISYIYAH 2, dengan objek berupa kemampuan motorik kasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tindakan kelas kolaboratif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, serta analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada pra-siklus tidak ada anak dalam kategori berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH). Pada akhir siklus 1, anak rata-rata masuk kategori mulai berkembang (MB), dan pada siklus 2 mencapai kategori BSH dengan peningkatan 170%. Permainan ini efektif karena menggabungkan keseimbangan dan gerakan lokomotor yang merangsang motorik kasar, sehingga cocok untuk anak usia dini. Abstract. This study focuses on improving gross motor skills through the traditional coconut shell stilt game. The research aims to: 1) describe children’s gross motor abilities, 2) identify methods to enhance gross motor skills, and 3) evaluate the effectiveness of the coconut shell stilt game. The subjects were children aged 5–6 years at AISYIYAH 2 Kindergarten, with the focus on gross motor skills. A collaborative classroom action research method was used, with data collected through observation and documentation, analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed no children in the "developing as expected" (BSH) category in the pre-cycle phase. By the end of cycle 1, most children were in the "beginning to develop" (MB) category, and by cycle 2, they achieved BSH with a 170% improvement. This success is attributed to the combination of balance and locomotor movements, making the game suitable for early childhood development.
