HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK IBU POSTPARTUM DENGAN KEJADIAN POSTPARTUM BLUES DI KLINIK YUNA MEDAN

Abstract

asa postpartum adalah salah satu periode terjadinya berbagai perubahan psikologis pada wanita melahirkan. Angka kejadian postpartum blues di Asia cukup tinggi dan bervariasi antara 26- 85%, sedangkan di Indonesia angka kejadian postpartm blues antara 37-67% dari wanita paska persalinan, dimana 50% kasus tersebut terjadi pada wanita usia produktif yaitu 20- 50 tahun. Kondisi postpartum blues apabila tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat berpotensial menjadi postpartum depresi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan karakateristik ibu dengan kejadian postpartum blues. Metode yang digunakan dalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan dari 53 responden terdapat 81,1% ibu berusia 20-35 tahun, 56,6% ibu primipara, 54,7 % ibu dengan bekerja, 56,6% ibu berpendidikan SMA dan 62,3% ibu tidak mengalami postpartum blues. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Pendidikan ibu mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian postpartum blues dengan p value 0,000, sedangkan usia, paritas, status bekerja tidak. Saran yang dapat diberikan pada penelitian berikutnya adalah menggali pengalaman ibu yang mengalami kejadian postpartum blues. The postpartum period is a period where various psychological changes occur in women giving birth. The incidence of postpartum blues in Asia is quite high and varies between 26-85%, while in Indonesia the incidence of postpartum blues is between 37-67% of postpartum women, where 50% of cases occur in women of productive age, namely 20-50 years. If not treated properly, postpartum blues can potentially become postpartum depression. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between maternal characteristics and the incidence of postpartum blues. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The results of this study show that of the 53 respondents, 81.1% of mothers were aged 20-35 years, 56.6% were primiparous mothers, 54.7% were working mothers, 56.6% of mothers had high school education and 62.3% of mothers did not experience postpartum blues. The conclusion of this research is that maternal education has a significant relationship with the incidence of postpartum blues, p value 0,000, while age, parity, and work status do not. Suggestions that can be given in future research are to explore the experiences of mothers who experience postpartum blues.
