<![CDATA[Koperasi adalah salah satu alat untuk mendorong tumbuhnya perekonomian masyarakat. Saat ini, isu lingkungan menjadi elemen dalam Koperasi, seperti Koperasi Konsumen Bank Sampah Bintang Siambang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui eksistensi Koperasi Konsumen Bank Sampah Bintang Siambang sebagai modal sosial dan pemberdayaan ekologi wilayah pesisir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara informan yang dipilih berdasar metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Koperasi Konsumen Bank Sampah Bintang Siambang dipercaya oleh komunitas memperoleh dukungan dari modal yang dimiliki secara kolektif dalam rangka pertumbuhan ekonomi dan perlindungan sumber daya alam setempat sehingga potensi modal sosial terjaga dalam keberlanjutan ekonomi, ekologi dan sosial budaya. Cooperatives are one tool to encourage the growth of the community's economy. Currently, environmental issues are an element in cooperatives, such as the Bintang Siambang Waste Bank Consumer Cooperative. The aim of this research is to determine the existence of the Bintang Siambang Waste Bank Consumer Cooperative as social capital and ecological empowerment in coastal areas. This research uses a qualitative method with interviews of informants selected based on the purposive sampling method. The results of the research show that the Bintang Siambang Waste Bank Consumer Cooperative is trusted by the community to obtain support from collectively owned capital in the context of economic growth and protection of local natural resources so that the potential for social capital is maintained]]>
