Abstract The issue of halal products is important for Muslim consumers, especially in Indonesia, which has the largest Muslim population. Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Guarantee (UU JPH) regulates the halal status of products; however, its implementation still faces challenges, particularly in South Pontianak. This study aims to analyze the implementation of halal product guarantees in the region, identify factors causing the lack of halal certification, and examine the efforts made by BPJPH toward business owners.The research method used is descriptive empirical law with qualitative analysis. The results indicate that, although challenges remain, relevant institutions such as BPJPH and MUI have made efforts to ensure that products in circulation comply with the established halal standards.. Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal (UU JPH) mengatur kehalalan produk, namun penerapannya masih menghadapi tantangan, terutama di Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penyelenggaraan jaminan produk halal di daerah tersebut, faktor penyebab belum adanya sertifikasi halal, serta upaya yang dilakukan BPJPH terhadap pelaku usaha.Metode yang digunakan adalah hukum empiris deskriptif dengan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun tantangan masih ada, lembaga terkait seperti BPJPH dan MUI telah berupaya memastikan produk yang beredar sesuai dengan standar halal yang ditetapkan.
