Abstract

Keterampilan shooting merupakan elemen penting dalam permainan Petanque, namun banyak pemain yang kesulitan mencapai akurasi yang konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media papan gawang dalam meningkatkan keterampilan shooting. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sebanyak 23 mahasiswa STKIP Melawi menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Peserta mengikuti 12 sesi pelatihan selama empat minggu. Hasil pretest menunjukkan rata-rata skor keterampilan shooting sebesar 7,26, sementara posttest menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan rata-rata 15,87. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 7,882, lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 2,074. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa media papan gawang efektif dalam meningkatkan akurasi shooting. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan media ini dalam program latihan rutin dan pengintegrasian elemen psikologis seperti self-talk dan mental imagery. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan memperluas sampel dan mengintegrasikan teknologi seperti augmented reality untuk umpan balik real-time. The pretest average score was 7.26, which significantly improved to 15.87 in the posttest. Paired t-test analysis revealed a t-value of 7.882, exceeding the t-table value of 2.074, indicating the effectiveness of the goal board media. This study recommends incorporating this media in regular training and combining it with psychological elements like self-talk and mental imagery. Future studies should expand the sample size and explore augmented reality technology for real-time feedback.
