ANALISA DRYBACK TERHADAP PERUBAHAN WARNA DAN DENSITY LAPISAN TINTA PADA KEADAAN WET DAN DRY PADA KERTAS COATED DAN UNCOATED

Abstract

ABSTRACTColors on the printout are the most important things in printing industry , for production best color be required ink knowledge for the best quality. Dryback is a term used to describe the decrease in optical density over time after printing that usually results in a loss in gloss the result from decrease of L*a*bvalue, From ink film in state of wet and dry. Foccus this research is knowing how many L*a*b value from ink film in state of wet and dry on paper coated(Art Paper 150gsm) and uncoated(HVS 80gsm). each object was measured at 0hour, 24hour, and 96hour measure is using Spectrodens TECHON, printed in offset machine Heidelberg SM52, use Saphira Ink Elite 620 ink process than be measured L*a*b and Density. The result of reseach obtaining color the most reactive to Dryback in Art Paper 150gsm is Black and Cyan is tend to be stable. While in HVS 80gsm Yellow is the most reactive to dryback and Cyan is tend to be stable.Keywords: color, inkdry, drybackABSTRAKWarna merupakan salah satu komponen terpenting dalam idustri percetakan, untuk menghasilkan warna yang baik dibutuhkan pengetahuan warna yang baik juga. Dry-Back merupakan penurunan nilai optikal atau penurunan nilai gloss yang diakibatkan dari perbedaan nilai L*a*b dari keadaan lapisan tinta wet dan dry. Fokus penelitian ini untuk melihat berapa nilai perubahan nilai L*a*b dan densitylapisan tinta pada keadaan wet dan dry pada kertas coated(Art Paper 150gsm)dan uncoated(HVS 80gsm). Masing-masing kertas di ukur pada waktu 0jam, 24 jam, dan 96 jam menggunakan SpectrodensTECHON, dicetak dengan mesin offset HeidelbergSM 52, menggunakan tinta proses Saphira Ink Elite Ace 620, kemudian di ukur L*a*b dan density.Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh warna yang paling reaktif terhadap Dryback pada kertas Art Paper 150gsm adalah Black dan Cyan cenderung stabil. Sedangkan pada kertas HVS 80gsm Yellow menjadi warna yang paling reaktif terhadap Dryback sedangkan Cyan cenderung stabil.Kata Kunci : warna, inkdry, dryback
