Tuberculosis is still a world health problem, especially in Indonesia. Defisit knowledge about tuberculosis can lead to low well-being of patient when taking medication. To increase patient’s knowledge is by providing health education. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of providing Short Message Service (SMS) in medication compliance for tuberculosis patient. This study used a literature review, using 10 research articles. The search strategy for this articles uses journal publication sources via Google Scholar, Scientdirect, Ebsco Host, and ProQuest, using keywords according to the topic. The result obtained, that giving SMS was very effective in medication compliance for tuberculosis patient.
