Abstract

Penggunaan Model Informasi Bangunan (Building Information Modelling/BIM) kian mendapat sorotan dalam sektor konstruksi, khususnya pada konstruksi struktur vertikal bertingkat tinggi di Indonesia. Teknologi ini memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keberlanjutan dalam proyek konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan BIM dalam meningkatkan efisiensi waktu, biaya, serta mendukung keberlanjutan pada proyek konstruksi high-rise building. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur yang mengacu pada berbagai referensi terkait implementasi BIM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BIM dapat mengoptimalkan pengelolaan waktu dan biaya, meningkatkan kolaborasi antar pihak terkait, serta mengurangi pemborosan material dan limbah konstruksi. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti rendahnya keterampilan pengguna dan kurangnya regulasi yang mendorong adopsi BIM menjadi hambatan utama. Secara keseluruhan, BIM memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keberlanjutan dalam proyek konstruksi di Indonesia, namun membutuhkan dukungan lebih lanjut dalam hal pelatihan dan kebijakan yang mendukung. The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is gaining increasing attention in the construction sector, especially in the construction of vertical high-rise structures in Indonesia. This technology has the potential to improve efficiency and sustainability in construction projects. This research aims to analyze the application of BIM in improving the efficiency of time, cost, and supporting sustainability in high-rise building construction projects. The method used is a literature review that refers to various references related to BIM implementation. The results showed that BIM can optimize time and cost management, improve collaboration between related parties, and reduce material waste and construction waste. However, challenges such as low user skills and lack of regulations that encourage BIM adoption are the main obstacles. Overall, BIM has great potential to improve efficiency and sustainability in construction projects in Indonesia, but requires further support in terms of training and supportive policies.
