Peran Hukum Adat Dalam Penyelesaian Kasus Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga Di Kabupaten Gayo Lues: Prespektif Feminisme

Abstract: This article discusses the role of customary law in resolving cases of domestic violence. Domestic violence is still an inevitable phenomenon because it still occurs very often to this day, most victims of domestic violence are women. The patterns and causes of domestic violence also vary greatly. Some regions still use adat as a solution to various problems that occur in society, one of which is the Gayo Lues area which is still very thick and respects the role of adat. This article uses a feminist perspective approach. The type of research is qualitative by looking for references related to the research and conducting interview methods via whatsapp phone. The results of this study show that there are positive and negative impacts on the role of customary law in resolving cases of domestic violence and knowing how much influence and satisfaction of victims of domestic violence through the role of adat in resolving cases of domestic violence. Keyword: Customary Law, Domestic Violence, Women, and Gayo Lues. Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas tentang bagaimana peran Hukum adat dalam penyelesaian kasus Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga masih menjadi fenomena yang tak terelakkan karena masih  kerap terjadi sampai saat ini, sebagian besar korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga adalah perempuan. Pola dan penyebab kekerasan dalam rumah tangga juga sangat bervariasi. Beberapa daerah masih menggunakan adat sebagai penyelesain dalam berbagai permasalah yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat salah satunya adalah daerah Gayo Lues yang masih sangat kental terhadap menghormati peran adat. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan presfektif feminisme. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan mencari referensi yang terkait dengan penelitian dan melakukan metode wawancara melalui telepon whatsapp. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat dampak positif dan negatif  terhadap peran hukum adat dalam menyelesaikan kasus kekerasan dalam rumah tangga serta mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dan kepuasan korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga melalui peran adat dalam menyelesaikan kasus kekerasan dalam rumah tangga tersebut. Kata kunci: Hukum Adat, Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT), Perempuan, Dan Gayo Lues.
