<![CDATA[Abstract - This research aims to build a system where employees of the geological survey center can find out the location of other employees' workspaces and make it easier for them to move workspaces. So far, employees find it difficult to know the location of other employees' workspaces when there are work-related needs. The unavailability of a system that can inform employee data and where their workspace is, makes it difficult for those who need it. Another thing that often happens there, is the matter of moving workspaces. The unavailability of a workspace system in the Geological Survey Center makes it difficult for employees to find a room that suits their needs. Some of the things that are considered by an employee to move workspace are workspace facilities. In the process of moving rooms, of course, he needs to know what facilities are owned in the room he will occupy and whether there are still empty desks available for him. Therefore, a workspace information system built with an object approach and waterfall development method. The result of this research is a room and employee information system application which is then tested using black-box. The test results show that the system works as expected.Keywords: Information System, Workspace Information System, Geological Survey Center, Object Oriented, Waterfall Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem dimana pegawai pusat survei geologi dapat mengetahui lokasi ruang kerja pegawai lain dan memudahkan mereka untuk berpindah ruang kerja. Selama ini pegawai merasa kesulitan untuk mengetahui lokasi ruang kerja pegawai lain ketika ada keperluan yang berhubungan dengan pekerjaan. Belum tersedianya sistem yang dapat menginformasikan data karyawan dan di mana ruang kerja mereka, menyulitkan mereka yang membutuhkan. Hal lain yang sering terjadi di sana, adalah soal perpindahan ruang kerja. Belum tersedianya sistem ruang kerja di Pusat Survei Geologi membuat para pegawai kesulitan untuk mencari ruangan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Beberapa hal yang menjadi pertimbangan seorang pegawai untuk berpindah ruang kerja adalah fasilitas ruang kerja. Dalam proses perpindahan ruangan tentunya ia perlu mengetahui fasilitas apa saja yang dimiliki pada ruangan yang akan ditempatinya dan apakah masih tersedia meja kosong untuknya. Oleh karena itu, dibangunlah sebuah sistem informasi ruang kerja dengan pendekatan objek dan metode pengembangan waterfall. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi ruangan dan karyawan yang kemudian diuji dengan menggunakan black-box.
