Teacher performance assessment is an important aspect in improving the quality of education in schools. However, the manual assessment process often takes a long time, is less objective, and is difficult in decision making. To overcome these problems, this study developed a Decision Support System (DSS) for the Best Teacher Performance Assessment at SMA Negeri 1 Sukoharjo using the Weighted Product (WP) method. The Weighted Product (WP) method was chosen because it is able to provide a more objective assessment by considering the weight of each predetermined criterion. This system is designed to process assessment data based on several teacher performance indicators, such as Attendance, Teaching Method, Teaching Experience, Education. Through the calculation process with the WP method, the system can automatically provide rankings and assist schools in determining the best teachers more accurately and efficiently. The implementation results show that this system can increase transparency and accuracy in the teacher performance assessment process. With this decision support system, schools can optimize assessments and provide more appropriate appreciation to outstanding teachers. This system can be an innovative solution in supporting human resource management in the school environment.
