Pengaruh Penerapan Total Quality Management terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Kementerian Agama Kota Bandung

Abstract

Abstrak Total Quality Management merupakan sistem manajemen mutu yang berupaya untuk melakukan perbaikan secara terus menerus dan melibatkan seluruh pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan total quality management terhadap kinerja pegawai di kantor kementerian agama Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner atau penyebaran angket dengan pengukuran data skala likert. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pegawai Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Bandung dengan jumlah 78 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan total quality management di Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Bandung (X) dengan indikator kerjasama tim, perbaikan berkesinambungan, pendidikan dan pelatihan, perlibatan, dan pemberdayaan karyawan, berkategori “Tinggi” dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,19 karena berada dalam rentang 3,40 – 4,19. (2) Kinerja Pegawai di Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Bandung (Y) dengan indikator kualitas kerja, kuantitas, ketepatan waktu, efektivitas, kemandirian, berkategori “Sangat Tinggi” dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,27 karena berada dalam rentang 4,19 – 5.00. (3) Hasil analisis regresi, uji signifikasi statistik t dan uji signifikasi simultan uji f menunjukkan hasil sebesar 3,569 dengan sig. 0,001 ≤ 0,05. Dikuatkan juga dengan pengujian koefisien determinasi sebesar 14,4% Penerapan Total Quality Management memiliki Pengaruh Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai.   Abstract Total Quality Management is a quality management system that seeks to make continuous improvements and involves all employees. This study aims to: Describe the Effect of Total Quality Management Implementation on Employee Performance at the Bandung City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office. This study uses a quantitative approach with the ex post facto method, data collection in this study through questionnaires or questionnaire distribution with Likert scale data measurement. Respondents in this study were 78 employees of the Bandung City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office. Based on the results of the study, it shows that: (1) The Implementation of Total Quality Management at the Bandung City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office (X) with indicators of teamwork, continuous improvement, education and training, employee involvement and empowerment, is categorized as "High" by obtaining an average value of 4.19 because it is in the range of 3.40 - 4.19. (2) Employee Performance at the Bandung City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office (Y) with indicators of work quality, quantity, punctuality, effectiveness, independence, is categorized as "Very High" by obtaining an average value of 4.27 because it is in the range of 4.19 - 5.00. (3) The results of the regression analysis, statistical significance test t and simultaneous significance test f test showed a result of 3.569 with sig. 0.001 ≤ 0.05. This was also strengthened by testing the coefficient of determination of 14.4%. The Implementation of Total Quality Management has an Influence on Employee Performance.
