<![CDATA[This article aims to discover the impact of using Google Assistant in learning English for high school students in Barru, specifically in listening skills classes. To study the phenomenon and obtain in-depth information, a case study exploration was conducted. The student who has used Google Assistant in listening classes were interviewed as part of the data collection process. This study found that the use of Google Assistant routinely and regularly can have a significant impact on students' English language skills. This research also found that the presence of Google Assistant can increase motivation. In addition, the students faced some problems or challenges in using Google Assistant. The challenges are related to the technical issues such as inconsistent internet connection, and the accuracy in understanding voice command, especially when the student speak with a strong local accent. The limitations on the results of this study are due to having only one informant as a reference data.]]>
