ABSTRACTThe circulation of cosmetic products that are not registered with the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) which is carried out through buying and selling will cause losses to the public as users of these products. This issue is the author's discussion, namely about What are the Legal Consequences of Buying and Selling Cosmetic Products That Are Not Registered with the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM)?This study aims to analyze the sale and purchase of cosmetic products that are not registered with the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BBPOM). To analyze the legal consequences of the sale and purchase of cosmetic products that are not registered with the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BBPOM). To answer the question, the author uses the normative legal method because the research material will be more on the aspect of norms or regulations regarding cosmetic products. The type of approach that the author uses is legislation and legal concepts that are in accordance with the problem.  Based on the results of the research and discussion, the following results were obtained: That the sale and purchase of cosmetics that are not registered with the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) is an act that is contrary to statutory regulations, especially Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health and Regulation of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency Number 12 of 2023 concerning Supervision of the Manufacture and Distribution of Cosmetics, and Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection because it will result in losses for users of these cosmetics. That the legal consequences of the sale and purchase of cosmetic products that are not registered with BPOM are that the sale and purchase carried out will be void by law and the seller or the party producing it will be subject to legal sanctions, both administrative and civil and criminal sanctions as regulated in Article 25 of the Regulation of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency Number 12 of 2023 concerning Supervision of the Manufacture and Distribution of Cosmetics and Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer ProtectionKeywords: Legal Consequences, Cosmetic Products, Not Registered with BPOM    ABSTRAK  Beredarnya produk kosmetik yang tidak terdaftar pada Badan Pengawas Obat Dan Makanan (BPOM) yang dilakukan secara jual beli akan menyebabkan kerugian bagi masyarakat selaku pengguna produk tersebut. Persoalan tersebut menjadi bahasan penulis yaitu tentang Bagaimana Akibat Hukum Jual Beli Produk Kosmetik Yang Tidak Terdaftar Di Badan   Pengawasan Obat Dan Makanan (BPOM) ?Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk menganalisis jual beli produk kosmetika yang tidak terdaftar di Badan Pengawasan Obat Dan Makanan (BBPOM). Untuk menganalisis   akibat hukum jual beli produk kosmetika yang tidak terdaftar di Balai Besar Pengawasan Obat Dan Makanan (BBPOM). Untuk menjawab pertanyaan penulis menggunakan metode yuridis normatif karena yang akan menjadi bahan penelitian lebih pada aspek norma atau peraturan berkenaan dengan produk kosmetik. Jenis pendekatan yang penulis gunakan adalah peraturan perundang-undangan serta konsep-konsep hukum yang sesuai dengan permasalahan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut : Bahwa jual beli kosmetika yang tidak terdaftar di Badan Pengawasan Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) adalah suatu perbuatan yang bertentangan dengan peraturan Perundang-undangan khususnya Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 tentang Kesehatan dan Peraturan Badan Pengawas Obat Dan Makanan Nomor 12 Tahun 2023 Tentang Pengawasan Pembuatan Dan Peredaran Kosmetik, serta Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlindungan Konsumen karena akan mengakibatkan kerugian bagi para pengguna kosmetik tersebut. Bahwa akibat hukum terjadinya jual beli produk kosmetik yang tidak terdaftar di BPOM adalah berakibat batal demi hukum jual beli yang dilakukan serta penjual atau pihak yang memproduksi akan dikenakan sanksi hukum baik itu secara administrasi maupun sanksi hukum secara keperdataan maupun secara pidana sebagaimana yang diatur dalam Pasal 25 Peraturan Badan Pengawas Obat Dan Makanan Nomor 12 Tahun 2023 Tentang Pengawasan Pembuatan Dan Peredaran Kosmetik dan Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlindungan Konsumen  Kata Kunci : Akibat Hukum, Produk Kosmetik, Tidak Terdaftar BPOM
