<![CDATA[AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi digital membawa dampak signifikan terhadap perlindungan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI). Era digital menghadirkan peluang besar dalam distribusi karya intelektual, tetapi juga meningkatkan risiko pelanggaran HKI, seperti pembajakan dan penyebaran ilegal. Artikel ini membahas tantangan dan strategi dalam meningkatkan perlindungan HKI di era digital, dengan fokus pada regulasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan analisis terhadap peraturan perundang-undangan terkait HKI serta studi kasus pelanggaran HKI di ruang digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi yang ada belum sepenuhnya adaptif terhadap dinamika digital. Untuk itu, diperlukan penguatan kerangka hukum, kolaborasi internasional, serta edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait pentingnya menghormati HKI. Kata Kunci: Hak Kekayaan Intelektual, Era Digital, Regulasi. Abstract The development of digital technology has a significant impact on the protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The digital era presents great opportunities in the distribution of intellectual works, but also increases the risk of IPR violations, such as piracy and illegal distribution. This article discusses the challenges and strategies in improving IPR protection in the digital era, with a focus on regulations in Indonesia. This study uses a normative juridical method with an analysis of laws and regulations related to IPR and case studies of IPR violations in the digital space. The results of the study indicate that existing regulations are not fully adaptive to digital dynamics. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the legal framework, international collaboration, and educate the public regarding the importance of respecting IPR.
