Abstract

This research analyzes the optimal cost and time budget for the Lawe Alas District Head Office Rehabilitation project using the Least Cost Scheduling method and Crashing analysis. This project has a normal completion time of 182 days with a normal cost of Rp. 160,151,592.33. The analysis was carried out by considering additional working hours to speed up the project completion time. The research results show that an additional 1 hour of work can speed up completion by 12 days at an additional cost of 1.6% of the normal cost. Adding 2 working hours speeds up 23 days with an additional cost of 20.89%, adding 3 working hours speeds up 33 days with an additional cost of 40.18%, and adding 4 working hours speeds up 42 days with an additional cost of 59.48%. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that increasing working hours is effective in speeding up project completion times, but must be applied selectively to critical work so as not to cause a disproportionate increase in costs. Applying additional working hours to non-critical work will only increase costs without providing significant acceleration benefits. Therefore, Least Cost Scheduling strategy and Crashing analysis are recommended to optimize project costs and time efficiently.
