Abstract

Abstrak Kehilangan karena kematian orang tua merupakan peristiwa  yang menakutkan bagi seorang anak, terlebih di masa emerging adulthood. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan resiliensi emerging adulthood yang mengalami kehilangan akibat kematian orang tua. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 118  individu berusia 18 – 25 tahun  yang telah kehilangan orang tua akibat kematian, baik itu ayah, ibu, atau keduanya. Metode  pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Resilience Test (RQ Test) dan skala Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MPSS). Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan resiliensi pada emerging adulthood yang mengalami kehilangan akibat kematian orang tua. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah emerging adulthood yang mengalami kehilangan orang tua dapat menjalin hubungan yang positif dengan orang-orang disekitarnya sehingga adanya dukungan sosial dapat meningkatkan resiliensi yang membantu mereka untuk bertahan dalam masa duka. Kata Kunci: Dukungan Sosial, Resiliensi, Emerging Adulthood, Kehilangan Akibat Kematian Orang Tua AbstractParent's death is a frightening event for a child, especially in the emerging adulthood. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and resilience to the loss caused by the death of a parent. Participants in this study were 118 individuals aged 18 to 25 who experienced parents death, whether it is the father, the mother, or both. Data collection method using the Resilience Test (RQ Test) scale and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MPSS). The data analysis technique uses the Pearson product moment correlation technique. The results of the study showed a significant positive link between social support and resilience in emerging adulthood who suffered loss as a result of the death of a parent. Implications of this study are that emerging adulthood who experience loss of parents can establish positive relationships with the people around them so that social support can increase resilience that helps them to survive in times of grief. Keywords: Social Support, Resilience, Emerging Adulthood, Loss Due to the Death of a Parent
