<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Five moment hand hygiene is an effective step in breaking the chain of cross infection, which can significantly reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse compliance and the application of five moments. The research design used descriptive quantitative with cross sectional. Sampling using total sampling with 33 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the Chi square statistical test obtained a p value = .040 ≤? (0.05) which means that there is a relationship between nurse compliance and the application of five moments in the Emergency Room of Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Hospital. The conclusion is that the better the nurse's compliance, the more optimal the implementation of the five moments in the emergency room Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Hospital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan perawat dengan penerapan five moment. Desain penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah responden 33 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuesioner dan observasi. Hasil uji statisitic Chi square diperoleh nilai p value= .040 ≤ ? (0,05) yang berarti ada hubungan kepatuhan perawat dengan penerapan five moment di IGD RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe. Kesimpulannya semakin baik kepatuhan perawat maka semakin optimal pelaksanaan five moment diIGD RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe.
