Abstract

The study of language related to society is an interesting study. This study is called Sociolinguistics. The materials of Sociolinguistics are code-mixing and code-switching. They can be applied in Padang Bulan by Andrea Hirata. There are two discussions in this study namely code-mixing and code-switching.
