ABSTRAKHipertensi merupakan salah satu faktor terbesar penyebab morbiditas dan mortalitas pada penyakit kardiovaskular. Ada 2 terapi pengobatan untuk menurunkan tekanan darah baik farmakologis (captopril 12,5mg) dan non-farmakologis (perasan air cincau hijau). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu membandingkan efektifitas air perasan daun cincau hijau (cylclea barbata miers) dan obat hipertensi terhadap tingkat hipertensi.            Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Quasy Eksperimental. Sample diambil dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu sebanyak 10 responden yang diberikan intervensi cincau hijau dan 10 responden diberikan obat hipertensi captopril 12,5 mg. Variabel independen yaitu pemberian air perasan daun cincau dan pemberian obat hipertensi. Variabel dependen yaitu tingkat hipertensi. Data penelitian diambil menggunakan observasi.            Hasil uji statistik Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test pemberian air perasan daun cincau hijau menunjukkan hasil (α hitung) = 0,000 dan korelasi Z = 3,702. Sedangkan untuk pemberian obat hipertensi captopril 12,5 mg menunjukkan hasil (α hitung) = 0,000 dan korelasi Z = 4,802 artinya bahwa pemberian obat hipertensi (captopril 12,5 mg) lebih efektif untuk menurunkan hipertensi.            Hipertensi dapat diobati dengan berbagai macam terapi baik yang melalui terapi farmakologis (obat hipertensi) maupun menggunakan terapi non-farmakologis (air perasan daun cincau hijau).Kata kunci: Air perasan daun cincau hijau, obat hipertensi (captopril 12,5 mg) dan tingkat hipertensi   ABSTRACTHypertension or high blood pressure disease is disorder of the blood vessel resulted in the supply of oxygen and nutrients carried by the blood are inhibited to tissue that need. There are two therapeutic treatments for lowered blood pressure in both pharmacological (captopril 12,5mg) and non-pharmacological (green grass jelly leaf juice water). The purposed of this study was to compare the effectiveness of the juice of green grass jelly leave (cylclea barbata Miers) and hypertension drugs on the level of hypertension in patients with hypertension.            The study designed used Quasy Experimental. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling as many as 10 respondents on the intervention used green grass jelly and 10 respondents used hypertension drugs. The independent variables were the provision of green grass jelly leaf juice and hypertension regimen while the dependent variable was the level of hypertension.
