Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis rekonstruksi hukum keluarga Islam dalam perspektif kontemporer yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai dasar Islam dengan dinamika kehidupan modern. Rekonstruksi ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan maqashid syariah, yang berfokus pada pencapaian keadilan, kemaslahatan, dan perlindungan hak asasi manusia. Penelitian ini juga memanfaatkan metode reinterpretasi teks keagamaan, pendekatan interdisipliner, dan dialog lintas budaya untuk merespons perubahan sosial yang kompleks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rekonstruksi hukum keluarga Islam berkontribusi pada reformasi berbagai aspek, seperti undang-undang perkawinan, penguatan hak-hak perempuan dan anak, pembatasan praktik poligami, dan peningkatan kesetaraan gender dalam keluarga. Proses rekonstruksi ini tidak hanya menjaga relevansi hukum Islam di era modern, tetapi juga menciptakan tatanan hukum yang responsif, inklusif, dan berkeadilan. Dengan demikian, rekonstruksi hukum keluarga Islam dalam perspektif kontemporer merupakan langkah penting untuk menjawab tantangan zaman tanpa meninggalkan esensi ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan hukum keluarga Islam yang kontekstual dan progresif.  AbstractThis study aims to analyze the reconstruction of Islamic family law in a contemporary perspective that integrates basic Islamic values with the dynamics of modern life. This reconstruction is carried out through the maqashid sharia approach, which focuses on achieving justice, welfare, and protection of human rights. This study also utilizes the method of reinterpreting religious texts, an interdisciplinary approach, and cross-cultural dialogue to respond to complex social changes. The results of the study indicate that the reconstruction of Islamic family law contributes to the reform of various aspects, such as marriage laws, strengthening the rights of women and children, limiting the practice of polygamy, and increasing gender equality in the family. This reconstruction process not only maintains the relevance of Islamic law in the modern era, but also creates a responsive, inclusive, and just legal order. Thus, the reconstruction of Islamic family law in a contemporary perspective is an important step to answer the challenges of the times without leaving the essence of Islamic teachings. This study is expected to be a reference in the development of contextual and progressive Islamic family law.
