Abstract

The characters of self-confidence and responsibility are two characters that every individual must have. Having a confident and responsible character will make a person an individual who can live his life with confidence when taking action and having the courage to take responsibility for the actions he has taken. Considering the importance of the character of self-confidence and responsibility for individual life from a young age, IPNU-IPPNU MA Abu Amr implements it in its work programs. The research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The analysis technique consists of data reduction, data display, and data verifying. The results of the research state that: (1) There is a series of IPNU-IPPNU work programs that can be used to form students' confident and responsible character, (2) Implementation of work programs that are in accordance with the activity management function, namely POACE (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling and Evaluating), and (3) There was a change in the character of students after participating in IPNU-IPPNU activities, from initially not having the courage to appear in front to becoming brave enough to appear in front. Apart from that, you are able to take responsibility for the trust that has been given.
