Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Shooting Three Points Menggunakan Metode Distributed Practice Pada Peserta Ekstrakurikuler Bola Basket Putra SMAN 1 Gending

Abstract

Peserta ekstrakurikuler SMAN 1 Gending kurang dalam keterampilan shooting three points sehingga peserta kurang tepat terhadap akurasi shooting three points. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menembak tiga angka pada peserta putra ekstrakurikuler bola basket di SMAN 1 Gending. Melalui penerapan metode latihan distributed practice penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dalam bidang olahraga yang nantinya digunakan sebagai bahan program evaluasi pelatih yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan tembakan tiga angka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dengan setiap siklus dilakukan 3 kali pertemuan. Sebanyak 20 siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMAN 1 Gending menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Tes menembak tiga angka sebanyak 25 kali dalam waktu 2 menit menjadi alat ukurnya. Hasil akhir menunjukkan peningkatan persentase keberhasilan tembakan tiga angka dari 55% menjadi 59% pada siklus pertama, dan meningkat menjadi 75% pada siklus kedua. Terbukti bahwa metode latihan distributed practice efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menembak tiga angka peserta ekstrakurikuler bola basket. Abstract Extracurricular participants at SMAN 1 Gending lack three-point shooting skills so that participants are less precise about three-point shooting accuracy. The aim of this research was to improve the three-point shooting ability of male basketball extracurricular participants at SMAN 1 Gending. Through the application of the distributed practice training method, this research is action research in the field of sports which will later be used as material for a coach evaluation program that can improve three-point shooting skills. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, with each cycle holding 3 meetings. A total of 20 male students participating in extracurricular basketball at SMAN 1 Gending were the focus of this research. The three-point shooting test 25 times in 2 minutes is the measuring tool. The final results showed an increase in the percentage of successful three-pointers from 55% to 59% in the first cycle, and increased to 75% in the second cycle. It has been proven that the distributed practice training method is effective in improving the three-point shooting ability of basketball extracurricular participants
