Teachers have a central role in shaping students' character and values, especially in the context of religious diversity. As role models of professional ethics, teachers can facilitate religious moderation in schools to create harmony and tolerance. This research aims to analyze the role of teachers as role models of professional ethics in building religious moderation in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis at schools with high religious diversity backgrounds. Data analysis was carried out thematically to identify relevant patterns. The research results show that PAI teachers have a very strategic role in shaping student character, especially in instilling the values of religious moderation. By implementing good professional ethics and using various effective learning methods, PAI teachers can contribute to creating a young generation with noble, tolerant and moderate morals.
