Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan kesulitan belajar matematika pada siswa kelas XI di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Banjarbaru. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu semua siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 1 Banjarbaru, sedangkan subjek yang akan diteliti sebanyak 64 siswa dengan teknik purposive sampling yang memiliki kriteria siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar pada matematika dengan nilai dibawah 75. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa efikasi diri dan skala kesulitan belajar matematika. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi product moment didapatkan nilai r = -0,367; p < 0,05, artinya adanya hubungan negatif antara efikasi diri dengan kesulitan belajar matematika. Nilai negatif pada r menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi efikasi diri maka semakin rendah kesulitan belajar matematika, sebaliknya semakin rendah efikasi diri maka semakin tinggi kesulitan belajar matematika sehingga nilai matematika siswa tersebut rendah. Hasil analisis tersebut memberikan bukti bahwa hipotesis peneliti yang menyatakan adanya hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan kesulitan belajar matematika dapat diterima. Kata kunci: Efikasi Diri, Kesulitan Belajar Matematika, dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan This study aims to find the relationship between self-efficacy and learning difficulties in mathematics in class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Banjarbaru. The population in this study were all students of class XI at SMK Negeri 1 Banjarbaru, while the subjects were 64 students with purposive sampling technique which had the criteria of students who had learning difficulties in mathematics with a score below 75. The data collection method used self-efficacy scale and the mathematics learning difficulty scale. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test, the value of r = -0.367; p <0.05, meaning that there is a negative relationship between self-efficacy and learning difficulties in mathematics. The negative value on “r” indicates that the higher the self-efficacy, the lower the difficulty in learning mathematics, viceversa, the lower self-efficacy, the higher the difficulty in learning mathematics so that the student's mathematics score is low. The results of this analysis provide evidence that the researcher's hypothesis which states that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and learning difficulties in mathematics is acceptable.
