<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the inability of generation z to face stressful conditions, which makes individuals have low fighting power. Based on this background, the problem in this study is how optimism in generation z. Participants in this study are generation z determined using simple random sampling techniques. The data collection method in this study is a questionnaire in the form of a google form using the Likert scale. The statistical method uses product moment correlation. The results of this study show that optimism significantly positively affects resilience. This means that the optimism variable is significantly correlated with the resilience variable, so the research hypothesis that there is a significant correlation between the optimism variable and resilience is accepted. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena ketidakmampuan generasi z menghadapi kondisi yang menekan, dimana hal tersebut membuat individu memiliki daya juang yang rendah. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana optimisme pada generasi z. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah generasi z yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini kuesioner berupa google form dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Metode statistik menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa optimisme secara signifikan positif mempengaruhi resiliensi. Artinya, variabel optimisme berkorelasi secara signifikan dengan variabel resiliensi maka hipotesa penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa ada korelasi yang signifikan antara variabel optimisme dengan resiliensi, diterima.]]>
