<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning contained in SantoonTV animation that contains social criticism, the meaning is denotation, connotation, and myth. The research method used The research method used is qualitative with a semiotic analysis approach. Data was collected through observation and documentation of videos uploaded on the SantoonTV Youtube account. videos uploaded on SantoonTV's Youtube account about social issues in the January - August 2023 edition. Data analysis techniques include identification and interpretation of signs that appear in the video based on Barthes' concepts. The results of this research show that the three signs conveyed by Roland Barthes and the message of social criticism can be found in SantoonTV animation, the use of humor in social criticism is effective in conveying complex messages to a wide audience. The use of myth in this animation succeeds in building a strong narrative about social injustice and inequality in Indonesian society. SantoonTV is not only an entertainment medium, but also an educational tool that opens discussions on important social issues.]]>
