Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV) di Kelas VIII SMPN 7 Palu. Jenis pe­nelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pe­laksana­an tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, dan masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini melalui lembar observasi, wawancara, catat­an lapangan, dan data hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pe­nerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 7 Palu mengikuti fase-fase yaitu: (1) menyampaikan tujuan dan memotivasi siswa, (2) menyajikan informasi, (3) penomoran, (4) mengajukan per­tanyaan yang dituangkan dalam LKS, (5) berpikir bersama, (6) menjawab, (7) mem­­berikan peng­hargaan. Kata Kunci: NHT, hasil belajar, sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV). Abstract: The objectives of this research is to obtain description about the application cooperative learning of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) that can improve student learning outcomes in solving equations linear system of two variables (ELSTV) in Class VIII SMPN 7 Palu. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The design of this research refered to the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart’s research design, that consist of 4 components, those are (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4)reflection. This research consist of two cycles, and each of the cycles was held in two meeting. Data of this research was collected through observation sheet, interview, note fields, and data of student’s study result. The research result showed that the application of cooperative learning of NHT can improve student’s study result on operate for to mixture of integer in Class VIII SMPN 7 Palu with following the phases, namely (1) submitting target and motivate student, (2) presenting information, (3) numbering, (4) raising question in spread sheet student, (5) thinking together, (6) replying, (7) giving appreciation.
