Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan langkah-langkah teori Van Hiele yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi hubungan garis dan sudut di kelas VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap LIK Layana Indah. Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan langkah-langkah teori Van Hiele dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi garis dan sudut melalui kegiatan (1) informasi, guru menyajikan fakta tentang dua buah garis sejajar yang dipotong oleh garis lain dan siswa memperhatian penjelasan guru, (2) orientasi berarah, siswa bersama teman kelompoknya berdiskusi mengenai materi garis dan sudut, (3) penegasan, siswa bersama-sama kelompok mengomunikasikan hasil temuannya di depan kelas, (4) orientasi bebas, siswa bekerja individu untuk mengetahui kemampuan individu siswa, sejauh mana pemahaman tentang materi garis dan sudut dan (5) integrasi, siswa membuat kesimpulan tentang hubungan garis dan sudut. Kata kunci : teori pembelajaran van hiele, hasil belajar, hubugan garis dan sudut Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the application of measures Van Hiele theory that can improve student learning outcomes in the material relationship lines and angles in class VII SMP One Roof LIK Layana Indah. The design of this study refers to the research design Kemmis and Mc. Taggart: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the application of measures Van Hiele theory can improve student learning outcomes in the material lines and angles through activities (1) information, the teacher drew two parallel lines cut by another line, and the students pay attention to the teacher's explanation. (2) The directional orientation, students and friends group discussions about the material lines and angles. (3) confirmation, a group of students together to communicate its findings to the class. (4) orintasi free, students work individually to determine the ability of the individual student, the extent to which an understanding of the material lines and angles and (5) integration, students make inferences about the relationship of lines and angles.
