Bioethical issues and the environmental crisis is a challenge in the present study biology andfuture. On the other hand the demands of quality of professional teacher lies in the creation of aform of praxis humanist and religious education. Both of these are the main purposes ofresearch about coexistence sanctitas and scientia as two traditions that continue to be able towalk parallel to realize the form of religious humanist education. Biology Education at theUniversity of Sanata Dharma is taken as the subject of educational phenomenon that seeks todevelop the tradition of scientia through contextual learning biology by studying the dynamicscyrcle of context-experience-reflection-action-evaluation. Through the ability of self-reflectiveinquiry is expected to deepen the faith of students through the construction of a transcendentalconsciousness as a human.
