There are differences between Indonesian and Japanese school systems. Every Japanese and Indonesian educational system has pros and cons of its own. Currently ranked 72nd out of 77 countries, Indonesia's education system need greater attention. Today's Indonesia has a wealth of excellent educators who can raise the bar for the country's educational system. One method to move closer to an ideal society is to compare the educational systems of other nations—like Japan—with Indonesia's education system. Children in Japan are highly regarded for their morality, self- control, and discipline from birth to age three. In Japan, kids are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities that may not always be enjoyable for their peers after completing elementary school in the fourth grade.
