Prototype of Batam as an industrial city in Indonesia with a variety of large factories has impacts on the environment. For example, waste and air pollution. AMDAL (Environmental Impact Assessment) issue becomes an urgent issue for Batam government which involves the role of Bapedalda Batam. The data of Batam Bapedalda from 2011 to 2015 showed the improvement of AMDAL. This study aims atanalyzing the policies and programs of Batam Environmental Impact Management Agency (Bapedalda) to the increase of AMDAL percentage. Method of collecting datawas done by interview, observation and documentation. Technique of selecting informant was purposive sampling, data analysis technique was done by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. For large-scale industrial areas such as Batamindo, Kabil, Panbil the implementation of AMDAL have been effective but for the coastal area is still less effective because of investor low awareness. There are three things to increasethe percentage of AMDAL: (1) increasing the investor requirement of voluntary from company, (2) effort in socialization context, door to door service, (3) public awarenessby applying law enforcement.

The growth rate of motor vehicles in Batam City in recent years runs very rapidly. This levy will increase the original revenue of Batam City, But the implementation of the policy of Bylaw No.1 / 2012 on parking that has been running for three years (2012-2015) does not generate significant revenue on parking charges. The Purpose of this research is how the implementationn of parking management system based on evaluation of the policy of Bylaw No.1 / 2012 on parking Btam City. Data retrieval method is done by observation and documentation. Informant selection technique is done by purposive sampling, technical data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of the research is that the policy of Batam City Government in increasing its achievement PAD not yet optimal, due to some obstacles such as: parking management system is not feasible, there is no public satisfaction survey index to measure the extent to which the achievement of parking policy in Batam City, Human Power that needs coaching and training. Its solution of Batan City government re-filed Ranpeda about parking with the intention of changing parking rates, changing the system of parking management and service facility improvement

Rusunawa buildings are constructed in a segregated setting, with distinct sections organized both horizontally and vertically. These units are primarily intended for residential purposes and come with communal facilities, shared amenities, and common land. The objective of the Rusunawa development is to address the issue of slum regions and overcome the constraints of limited land availability. It aims to provide suitable and inexpensive housing options for low-income individuals, specifically those categorized as MBR. The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of the Rusunawa Triharjo project in mitigating the prevalence of slum settlements in Kulon Progo Regency. The findings of this study indicate that: 1) The intended objective of developing Rusunawa has not been fulfilled by the residents of slum regions in Kulon Progo Regency; 2) The overall goal has not been accomplished due to the community's limited interest in residing in Rusunawa Triharjo.

Purpose: This scientific article aims to demonstrate the positive impact of public relations in providing and disseminating information to the general public, resulting in increased income for the region. This paper discusses the concept of Government Public Relations as a means of optimizing the distribution of public services. Specifically, the focus is on the communication and transmission of information to the wider population. This paper examines the potential impact of government public relations on increasing tax compliance awareness among the public in Batam City. The analysis explores strategies for enhancing public awareness of tax obligations. This text discusses the concept of tax as a mandatory contribution by citizens that is crucial for generating revenue for the state. The management of taxes is considered to be of utmost importance due to its potential within a structured framework. Methodology: This scholarly article employs qualitative and descriptive analysis techniques to analyze and observe pre-existing data. Result: From the research conducted, it is found that there is a significant increase in public awareness of paying taxes in Batam City, yet some community groups are still not aware of the need to pay taxes.

This study aims to examine the policies implemented by the Batam City Government in responding to food security in the city. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative for the study. The results of the study identified sub-districts such as Batu Legong, Temoyong, and Bulang Lintang as the main priorities that require serious attention from the government. Food facilities and infrastructure in these sub-districts need to be strengthened through adequate allocation of resources and budgets. The audience, as key stakeholders, play a crucial role in implementing these recommendations. In addition, an in-depth evaluation also needs to be carried out on the condition of food infrastructure in sub-districts with lower levels of vulnerability. Sustainable food assistance programs and collaboration with the private sector and civil society are strategic steps in improving overall food security. Nutrition counseling and education to the community are also important to improve understanding of healthy eating patterns. The conclusion is that 33 sub-districts in Batam City still lack facilities and infrastructure to provide food. Keywords: Indicators, Food Security Concept, Public Policy

This study aims to investigate the technology adoption strategy by MSMEs in Batam City in facing digital transformation. The research problem discusses the importance of technology mastery for MSMEs and the challenges and opportunities faced in adopting digital technology. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with MSME actors. The study results show that education, training, and collaboration are the main strategies for strengthening MSMEs' technology adoption. Education and training help MSMEs understand the potential of technology to increase efficiency and competitiveness, while collaboration with various parties provides access to the necessary resources and support. In conclusion, investment in technology mastery and building collaboration is the key to the growth and sustainability of MSMEs in this digital era, enabling them to develop and compete in an increasingly complex and competitive market. One of the driving forces behind village government is the apparatus.The village government's apparatus serves as executor administration and provides services to community members who are service objects.The purpose of this study is to ascertain how well the apparatus functions in executing administrative duties and providing community services at the village level. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how village government in SINGKEP VILLAGE, LINGGA REGENCY, contributes to community service quality improvement.This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach that focuses on the village government's role in enhancing the community's access to administrative services in SINGKEP VILLAGE, LINGGA REGENCY.The findings demonstrated that the Tangible dimension, Reliability, Responsiviness, Assurance, and Empathy, as well as their respective indicators, had been incorporated into the quality of administrative services in SINGKEP VILLAGE, LINGGA REGENCY.However, there are still some indicators that are not meeting the community's expectations. These indicators include the inconvenience of the service location, which includes facilities and infrastructure that are incomplete, employees who have not utilized SOPs (Standard Operational Procedures) effectively, and employees who are still unfriendly in the service process.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kepemimpinan dan kompetensi sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) secara parsial terdapat pengaruh Kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai t-count (9,766) > t-table (1,984), (2) secara parsial tidak terdapat pengaruh kompetensi sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai t-count (0,631) < t-table (1,984), (3) secara simultan terdapat pengaruh kompetensi Leadership dan sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan F-count (64,250) > F-table (3,09).

This research is aimed at analyzing the influence of service quality (X) on community satisfaction in Batu Aji District (Y). The approach in this research uses quantitative methods, by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The research sample was 100 people. The results of research using the comparison method between t-count and t-table, the t-table value obtained with a total of 100 data is 1,984, while the t-count value for service quality is 12,575, because t-count (12,575) > t-table (1,984). Based on the data above, the significance value (Sig.) of 0.000 is smaller than <0.05 probability, so H0 is accepted, Ha is rejected, therefore it means that there is an influence of service quality (X) on satisfaction (Y). Meanwhile, the determination results obtained obtained an R value of 0.786, meaning 78.3%, while an R2 value of 0.617, meaning 61.7%. The Community Satisfaction variable can be explained by service quality as an independent variable and the remainder (100%-61.7%=38.3%) is not in the research.

The Ansor Youth Movement (GP) is a youth, community, national, and religious organization with a popular character. The spirit of struggle, nationalism, liberation, and heroic ethos colors GP Ansor. GP Ansor has a vision, mission, and goals as a structured organization. GP Ansor has spread throughout all regions in Indonesia, including in Batam. The coaching at GP Ansor Sagulung District is carried out with the following stages of coaching: GP Ansor Youth follows all the material that will be delivered at this coaching activity, namely: Organization and Leadership, Public Speaking, and Presentation Techniques. The methods to solve problems offered by the devotees are lectures and hands-on practice and ensuring that all GP Ansor youth understand the material presented, are given time to discuss, and can make presentations and speak in front of crowds in real situations.
