Abstrak. Kegiatan belajar dan pembelajaran merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang diberikan di sekolah. Namun, sesungguhnya kegiatan itu saja belum cukup memadai dalam membantu peserta didik mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang dialaminya dan menyiapkan siswa terjun di masyarakat dengan berhasil. Kondisi tersebut menjadi salah satu alasan diperlukannya layanan bimbingan dan konseling (BK) di sekolah dan pendidikan di pondok pesantren. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui metode yang diterapkan dalam pelayanan bimbingan konseling di pondok pesantren Tahfiz Al-Qur’an dan Hadist Al-Faiz. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang sifatnya deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data seperti transkripsi wawancara, catatan lapangan, gambar, foto dan rekaman video. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 6 orang santri putra dan Bapak Abdul Kholiq Munthe S.Pd selaku guru BK di pondok pesantren Tahfiz Al-Qur’an dan Hadist Al-Faiz. Hasil penelitian dengan mewawancarai guru BK dan 6 orang santri putra yang bersangkutan, peneliti mendapatkan informasi bahwa metode yang digunakan dalam pelayanan BK di pesantren tersebut yaitu menggunakan metode ceramah dan metode terapi. Kemudian peneliti juga menemukan kendala yang sering terjadi dalam pelayanan BK di pondok pesantren yaitu terdapat santri yang memiliki sifat pendiam sehingga ketika ada suatu permasalahan santri tidak berbicara dan sulit untuk mendapatkan informasi dari santri tersebut. This condition is one of the reasons for the need for guidance and counseling services in schools and education in Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of this study is to find out the methods applied in counseling guidance services at the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an and Hadith Al-Faiz Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques such as interview transcriptions, field notes, pictures, photos and video recordings. The subjects of this study were 6 male students and Mr. Abdul Kholiq Munthe S.Pd as a counseling guidance teacher at the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an and Hadith Al-Faiz Islamic boarding school. The results of the study by interviewing the counseling teacher and 6 male students in question, the researchers got information that the methods used in counseling services at the pesantren were using the lecture method and the therapeutic method. Then the researchers also found obstacles that often occur in counseling services at Islamic boarding schools, namely there are students who have a quiet nature so that when there is a problem the students do not speak and it is difficult to get information from these students.
