Abstract

This research was conducted in Manguntara Village for 2 months, starting from May to June 2023. This research aims to develop the potential of children in Manguntara Village while contributing knowledge, ideas and knowledge to build education in Manguntara Village. The research method we used was a qualitative method, namely the case study method because at the beginning of the research we conducted observations in Mangunatara Village and conducted interviews with the community to dig deeper information which we would then analyze to determine our next steps. After interviewing the Koran teachers in Manguntara Village, I finally concluded that the method I would use when teaching Koran reading later was the method of reading the Koran together, then the children read the Koran one by one in turns, after that I filled it with stories about the prophets and apostles. We carried out this activity for approximately two months to then obtain data on the children's psychomotor abilities after participating in this activity.
