The increasing environmental crisis requires comprehensive solutions, including faith-based approaches. By integrating Islamic values regarding nature conservation into PAI learning through the Merdeka Curriculum, it is hoped that it can build students' ecological awareness. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that ecoliteracy-based PAI learning has succeeded in increasing students' ecological awareness in three aspects: (1) increasing knowledge about the relationship between Islamic values and the environment, (2) changing attitudes that view environmental preservation as a form of worship, and (3) forming concrete environmental care behavior through programs such as "Clean Friday" and "Plant and Care" through the independent curriculum project (p5). In conclusion, the integration of ecoliteracy in PAI learning is effective in building students' ecological awareness based on Islamic values, in accordance with the objectives of the Merdeka Curriculum which emphasizes contextual learning and character formation.
