<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the professional competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in improving the quality of learning at MTs Muhammadiyah Tawangsari. Professional competence is a key indicator in determining the quality of both teaching processes and learning outcomes, especially in religious education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Valid data analysis techniques in this study were carried out through observation and interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers at MTs Muhammadiyah Tawangsari. The findings show that PAI teachers at MTs Muhammadiyah Tawangsari possess strong content knowledge, effectively manage classrooms, and apply various relevant and innovative teaching methods. Efforts to improve learning quality are carried out through self-development, training, and teacher collaboration. Therefore, the professional competence of PAI teachers plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning in the school.]]>
