PERBEDAAN STATUS GIZI DAN KESEHATAN PRALANSIA DAN LANSIA DI PUSKESMAS CIPAYUNG DEPOK [DIFFERENCES OF NUTRITIONAL AND HEALTH STATUS BETWEEN MIDDLE AGE AND ELDERLY IN CIPAYUNG HEALTH CENTRE DEPOK]

Abstract

ABSTRACT Increasing the elderly population is an indicator of the success of human development, but also raises highly complex problems in terms of health, economic and social aspects. Degenerative diseases are not only sustained by the elderly, but now many have occurred at productive age or middle age. This study aimed to determine differences in nutritional and middle age health status and elderly in Cipayung, Depok. The research used a cross-sectional study design. The location was in Posbindu Cipayung Health Center Depok, West Java and conducted in November 2016 to January 2017. The number of samples were 399 people with age> 45 years with simple random sampling. This study was followed by middle age (63.5%) and elderly (36.5%). The prevalence of overweight (77.2%), central obesity (77.2%), when glucose levels (16.5%) in midlle age were significantly higher than in the elderly. Meanwhile, the prevalence of hypertension was significantly higher in the elderly (82.9%) compared to middle age (70.1%). While cholesterol levels, uric acid, and stress levels there was no significant difference between middle age with the elderly. The negative health aspects in middle age were overweight, central obesity, and blood sugar levels, while in the elderly was hypertension. ABSTRAK Peningkatan jumlah penduduk lanjut usia merupakan indikator keberhasilan pembangunan manusia, tetapi juga menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan yang sangat kompleks baik dari aspek kesehatan, ekonomi maupun sosial. Penyakit degeneratif tidak hanya dialami oleh lansia, tetapi saat ini sudah banyak terjadi pada usia produktif atau pralansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan status gizi dan kesehatan pada pralansia dan lansia di Cipayung, Depok. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi potong lintang. Lokasi penelitian di posbindu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Cipayung Depok, Jawa Barat dan dilakukan pada bulan November 2016 sampai Januari 2017. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 399 orang dengan usia > 45 tahun dengan simple random sampling. Penelitian ini diikuti oleh pralansia (63,5%) dan lansia (36,5%). Prevalensi overweight (77,2%), obesitas sentral (77,2%), kadar gula darah sewaktu (16,5%) pada pralansia lebih tinggi signifikan dibandingkan pada lansia. Sementara, prevalensi hipertensi lebih tinggi signifikan pada lansia (82,9%) dibandingkan pra-lansia (70,1%). Sementara kadar kolesterol, asam urat, dan tingkat stres tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara pralansia dengan lansia. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aspek kesehatan yang negatif pada pralansia adalah overweight, obesitas sentral, dan kadar gula darah, sementara pada lansia adalah hipertensi.
